Heat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cut the mozzarella and cheddar cheese into cubes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, red onion, basil and tomato paste. Sprinkle the olive oil mixture over the top of the garlic, red onion, basil and tomato paste and stir to coat.
Place the cubed cheese on the bottom of a pizza pan.
Spread the garlic, red onion, basil and tomato paste mixture over the cheese.
Press the cheese down gently with your fingers.
Roll out the pizza dough into a circle and place it over the pizza.
Bake the pizza for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with the cubed cheese.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes.
Serve immediately.
