My version of a homemade pizza crust uses a simple combination of flour, water and yeast. I mix it together and let it rest until it rises, then shape it into a ball and let it rise again. This pizza dough is ready in less than 15 minutes.

The pizza dough recipe is very versatile, so you can easily make pizza with any kind of toppings you want. For example, add pepperoni and sausage or add your favorite toppings to make your own pizza.

Cheese Pizza Ingredients

Here’s a quick overview of the pizza ingredients you’ll need. If you’re looking for a quick and easy pizza recipe, you’ll love this recipe.

Olive Oil: This is essential for the crust to get crispy and golden.

Salt: You’ll need a good amount of salt to give the cheese a salty flavor.

Ground Pepper: This is a key ingredient to give your cheese pizza a kick.

Pizza Dough: If you’re using store bought pizza dough, you’ll want to cut it into 8 pieces.

Fresh Mozzarella Cheese: The mozzarella cheese is what will make your pizza taste so good.

Easy Pizza Crust Recipe

Here is a quick overview of how to make this easy pizza crust recipe. If you are new to making pizza crust, you might find my guide on How to Make Pizza Crust helpful.

Combine the Flour and Yeast: For this recipe, you’ll need two cups of flour and one teaspoon of yeast. The flour helps to create a strong and flaky crust. The yeast will help to develop the flavor of the crust.

Mix the Dough: To mix the dough, combine the yeast with the warm water and then whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.  Once the dough is mixed, you’ll knead it for 10 minutes.

Knead the Dough: After mixing the dough, it will be very sticky. To get a smooth and elastic dough, you’ll need to knead the dough for 10 minutes. Kneading the dough will help it to rise evenly and develop a nice flaky texture.

Roll the Dough: Once the dough is kneaded and ready to be rolled, you’ll need to roll it out onto a lightly floured surface.  The dough is quite soft, so be sure to roll it out slowly.

Make the Crust: Once the dough is rolled out, it will be about 1/4 inch thick. To make the pizza crust, spread a thin layer of olive oil on the surface of the dough. Then, sprinkle on a little bit of kosher salt.

Bake the Crust: Bake the pizza crust in a hot oven at 450° F for 10 minutes. After baking, brush the top of the pizza crust with a little bit of olive oil.

Pizza Sauce Ingredients

Here is a quick overview of the ingredients you’ll need to make pizza sauce. The best pizza sauces are made with real tomatoes and not with tomato paste. You can buy canned diced tomatoes, but I find that the best results come from making your own.

Tomato Paste: You can find tomato paste in the pasta section of most grocery stores. It comes in a tube and has a consistency similar to ketchup.

Pizza Sauce: Pizza sauce is just a simple mix of chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic and spices. You can use any type of chopped tomatoes, but I prefer to use crushed tomatoes for the best flavor.

Olive Oil: This is a key ingredient in pizza sauce. It helps the tomato sauce stick to the dough and adds a nice flavor.

Salt: Salt is the seasoning of choice for pizza. It adds flavor and enhances the taste of the sauce.

How to make cheese pizza

Making pizza is easy, but it does take practice to perfect the art of pizza making.

Here are some tips for making a great cheese pizza.

First, make sure to buy high quality pizza sauce. A good quality sauce will make the difference between a mediocre pizza and a great one.

Next, choose a high quality pizza dough. You can tell the difference between a good and a great pizza by how the dough is made.

Toppings are the final key to a great pizza. Make sure that your toppings complement the sauce and dough.

Toppings are usually placed on the pizza after it has been cooked. This helps keep the toppings from drying out and burning.

Finally, make sure to use a pizza stone. Pizza stones are available at many stores that sell kitchen supplies. They are inexpensive and make a big difference in the quality of your pizza.

Tips for cheese pizza

This is a great recipe for those of you who have never made your own pizza dough. It’s fast, easy and only requires one bowl to mix everything together.

Here are a few tips on how to make the best pizza dough.

Use the Right Ingredients: The most important thing to remember when making pizza dough is to use the right ingredients.  Start with good quality flour. I use a familiar brand of bread flour. The best thing about this flour is that it’s already mixed with yeast and salt. No other flours need to be added. If you use self-rising flour, you’ll need to add the additional yeast to the dough.

Use the Right Yeast: I recommend using active dry yeast instead of instant yeast. Active dry yeast gives the dough a better rise.

Use the Right Water: Make sure you use hot water. The water needs to be lukewarm to work properly. If the water is cold, you’ll need to add some warm water to get the water temperature up to lukewarm.

Mix Properly: After you have measured the water, sprinkle the yeast directly into the flour.  Don’t add the yeast to the flour in a large mixing bowl. Instead, pour the water into the center of the bowl and mix the flour around the water with a fork or whisk. When you add the water, use a spatula to scrape the flour off the sides of the bowl and into the center. Mix the ingredients together until all of the flour is combined into a ball. The dough should be moist and sticky but not wet.

Cover the Dough: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in a warm area for about 1 hour. This allows the yeast to activate. After an hour, you’ll need to add salt to the dough.

Divide the Dough: After the first hour, the dough should be ready to use. The dough can be used immediately after it has been kneaded or left in the bowl to rise. The dough can be divided into two parts. One part can be used for the pizza crust while the other can be used for the topping.

Let the Dough Rise: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm area for about 2 hours. This will cause the dough to double in size.

Bake the Dough: When the dough is ready, preheat the oven to 450° F. Bake the pizza dough for 12 minutes. Remove the pizza dough from the oven and let it cool completely.
